KOSME FOUNDATION is a fully owned subsidiary of Veritas Logistics Private Limited, dedicated to helping the distressed families of farmers who committed suicide for financial distress.
We envision self reliant communities where widows have dignified means of livelihood and children can pursue their education, despite their financial hardships.
Delivery logistics is one of the main challenges in supporting the affected families, which are mostly located in remote locations. That is where Reliance Retail comes in.
Through their vast network of Reliance Smart stores, they deliver high quality groceries to the far flung delivery points with clockwork precision.
Our Banking partner ICICI Bank ensures that the monthly support amount reaches the account of the wife of the farmer without fail.
Complete goat farming set up, with pucca sheds and pregnant goats, were given to six families in Kannad Taluka and twelve families in Gangapur Taluka, after providing them with training in goat farming by professional Veterinary Doctors. Foundation volunteers visited them for weight and health monitoring and other assistance every month. The families were also given emergency medicine kit and thermometer for proper monitoring of the livestock by the families themselves. The projects handed over to respective families after one year of support.
Children from remote villages in Aurangabad district were admitted to the Boarding School run by Trimurti Pratishthan, Nevasa Village from academic year 2024 for better education and for their bright future, at the expense of the Foundation for their tuition fees, boarding, uniform and books.
